Gibson Oven Stew
- mashed these two recipes together
- added water about 2 cups worth
- didn't use broth, just the powder
- used tomato paste not tomato juice
- this stew turned out amazing.
- added spices were a smart choice - flavour is good.
- used the first measurement of salt and pepper
- perfectly tender beef, veggies hold their shape but are soft.
- with 1 hour left on the timer I added 1.5 tsp cornstarch with 3 tbsp cold tap water- mix together then pour into the stew, stir it all in.
- this will be my stew recipe for awhile
- make dinner rolls next time.
