Amish Banana Bread + Chocolate Chips

This one has to go on looks alone. I tossed a bunch of chocolate chips in the batter. After the cooking time listed, I had to place a tin foil tent of the top so it wouldn't brown anymore and added another 11 minutes - this smelled awesome by the way. I don't know what about this recipe makes it Amish, it seems like everything other basic bread recipe I've seen.

Took it out of its pan and left it on the cooking rack with a tea towel over top of it. It's been super warm the last couple of days, and I didn't want any flies waking up to decided to land and do their stuff all over this.

Doesn't this loaf look great. So why didn't we eat it because the next morning I went to cut some slices for breakfast and a handful of fruit flies came flying out of the loaf - there was a rip in the tea towel - where they all must of gotten in and had a party with their friends.

On looks and smell alone this would get a 5 star rating.
